The Irish Hound Journey
Welcome to Irish Hound Designs. My name is Judd TerBush, and I’m the founder and creative force behind this heartfelt venture.
For as long as I can remember, poetry, art, and music have been central to my life. But Irish Hound Designs was born from something deeper, a transformative season of love, loss, and reflection. Around the same time, my father and my two loyal dogs, Hank and Sheamus, began facing serious illness. That year became a profound journey of caregiving, companionship, and emotional clarity as I walked beside them through their final days.
Their presence during that time didn’t just steady me, it awakened something in me. In their own quiet ways, Hank and Sheamus carried a kind of natural wisdom. They lived with the uncomplicated loyalty and calm awareness that spiritual teachers spend lifetimes trying to describe. Walking with them, loving them, and eventually letting them go reshaped my understanding of what it means to live with intention.
When they passed, I felt called to honor the way their spirits had woven themselves into mine. I wanted to create something meaningful, something that could offer comfort, inspiration, and a sense of quiet grounding to others. That desire became Irish Hound Designs, named for Sheamus (an Irish Setter) and Hank (a Basset Hound), the pack that taught me presence, devotion, and the simple sacredness of everyday moments.
Since 2023, Irish Hound Designs has been dedicated to crafting thoughtful, uplifting pieces that help people reconnect with themselves and the world around them. Many of the designs include subtle sacred geometry, patterns that echo harmony, balance, and the deeper architecture of life. Each piece is created with intention, gratitude, and a blessing of peace for whoever it finds.
